I'd like to have an option to downgrade back to 5.1.2 if the upgrade causes more issues than it solves. If this doesn't help, I'll upgrade further to 5.3.7.3. **Any ideas?** I would really like to install a custom screensaver on my new kindle, and now its getting personal.ĭon't know how to code, but could be walked through whatever is needed.īecause of lack of suggestions to fix Kindle Touch slowdown, I decided to upgrade firmware to the latest official Amazon version. I've tried to use any updated MRinstaller files I could find with no joy
I've been trying to launch them all from the mrpackages folder with log mrpi but getting the error appears to be the only other person on the internet to have this error, and seems to have resolved it, but I can't follow how. In combination with both the original and latest KUAL launchers, and the coplate version. I've tried the original MRinstaller from here:
However, whatever MRinstaller I try, I get an "MRPI is not installed" error message in the top left corner of the PW when trying to run the KUAL package with log mrpi. Latest hotfix successfully installed - still on 5.10.0.2 though (the Kindle isn't detecting OTA update to latest 5.10.3): Great forum, thanks to everyone for your work!īeen searching for a few hours, and hitting a specific roadblock setting up KUAL that I haven't seen anyone else hitting.
I am a new kindle owner and this is my first post here.
